Knitted scarves are made from quality woolen materials in mostly unique series. In 2022, 150 years have passed since the birth of Jože Plečnik and it is Plečnik’s year, which is why the Vinjeta knit was created.
Vignette knitting is inspired by the various vignette drawings that the architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957) used to decorate books. In his extensive oeuvre, he took care of the graphic image of various magazines, designed book covers, planned page breaks and drew vignettes. The original vignette drawings are kept in Plečnik’s MGML collection.
The scarves are in white packaging with a description and explanation of the illustration.
