This beautiful handmade soap is a perfect way to massage and gently scrub your body. Moisten with water and wring softly until the soap lathers foam. When ready, wash it out and let it dry for future use. Woolen Soap is pure wool and soap felted together into a unique object. It is intended for body care, namely for massaging, skin peeling and particularly for caring of children’s hands and feet. Woolen Soaps are created by a continuous wringing action of felt-making technics. It is an ancient method still known in traditional communities from different parts of the world. Felt is the oldest form of fabric known to humankind. Woolen soaps are like river stones, each piece has a unique and satisfying design.
Woolen Soaps won Honorable Mention on the Biennial of Industrial Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Made in Slovenia.
